Kendra's LovingHands is a charitable organization dedicated to helping the homeless community. We believe in providing care and support to those in need. Our primary focus is offering care packages that include essential items such as food, clothing, toiletries, and other necessities to our houseless/homeless populations. In addition to this, we also offer health services by conducting blood pressure and glucose level checks to ensure the well-being of at-risk healthcare populations such as pregnant women, the elderly, and people with limited access to transportation who cannot afford healthcare. Understanding the importance of monitoring your health, we want to donate glucometers and blood pressure cuffs to community members who are at a disadvantage. This will teach them how to take their health into their own hands. A blessing care package for the homeless/houseless community comprises various items that greatly benefit their well-being. Firstly, essential hygiene products such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, socks, and toilet paper are crucial for maintaining personal cleanliness and nourishing his body. Non-perishable food items like granola bars, canned goods, and bottled water are essential to alleviate hunger and provide sustenance. Ultimately, these blessing care package items help address the basic needs of the homeless community, offering them a glimmer of hope and support during challenging times.
Our community outreach program focuses on identifying individuals in need and providing essential health services. We visit different areas to identify those who may benefit from our assistance. Once identified, we offer to check their blood pressures and glucose levels, ensuring their consent.
